Pawsitive Teen Girls
Teenage girls are going through so many wonderful & challenging transitions. They are working on discovering their unique identities.
This can be a stressful time and every teenage girl needs support.
Pawsitive Teen Girls is designed to assist your daughter in exploring her relationships & increasing her emotional awareness and empathy. She will learn to work as part of a team and find her unique voice and identity.
Through experiential canine-assisted activities your daughter will have the experience of embodying these important life skills.
In this group your daughter will…
- Improve her communication skills
- Increase positive connections with others
- Build her confidence
- Explore her self image
- Develop healthy boundaries
- Step into her leadership
When: Groups start in August & January every year
Time: Mondays 6:30-7:30pm
Where: Santa Rosa offices
Length: One semester commitment
Cost: $200 a month
About the therapists:
Shanti Hill-Gauer has extensive experience facilitating Animal-Assisted groups for teens. She has the ability to support youth in feeling safe, seen and heard while holding them accountable so they can learn and grow in a group setting. Shanti will be facilitating this group with her co-therapist Ziggy!
